He is also someone that can be seen as a bit of a joker and a prankster especially when he was in school as he was the leader of a group known as the marauders. He is also a very loyal person when he found out that Remus Lupin was a werewolf rather than running away from his friend screaming he had stood loyal to his friend and he had protected him even becoming an animagus of a stag to help his friend when he had transformed. James is also a very suspicious person and it is hard to gain his trust but when you have it you have it for life.  James Potter is the only child of Charlus and Dorea Potter, despite this he loves his parents to death and sees the marauders as his extended family due to the level of friendship they share despite the fact they aren't blood related.  James is incredibly loyal to his friends especially the marauders he will always do what he can for his friends. Yet once you break his trust once you don't get it back  Since about his 3rd year at Hogwarts no one has gotten a look in over Lily Evans even when she hated him.  Mostly dark wizards or anyone that would want to try and harm his friends, also anyone who talks bad about Lily. Credit goes to mariari00/Chrissy! of Caution2.0 @#$!%$! Please leave credit intact! IAIN&&JAMES I think Iain would remember James from Quidditch, even if they weren't in the same year, as he played beater position for Hufflepuff. I can't see them being very close friends, but acquaintances or I-recognise-your-face sort of would work? |

sure maybe even some house rivalry but nothing that could be taken as serious because of the fact that it just a sport after all.

I think Tye would know about James' reputation from the war and would despise him based purely on that! But perhaps James kicked Tye's arse in a battle (Tye disguised in his DE mask) and so Tye has a personal thing against James?

Sure sounds good to me, I would imagine that James was on the front line so he would have encountered many death eaters.
